85 out of 100
The score weighs price, history, maintenance, mileage, and more.
The British MOT figures count towards the model reliability sub-score. At the measured ages this model fails about 0,9 times as often as the British average. That average covers all cars that came on the road in the same year. This raises that sub-score by 1 out of 100, with a maximum of 4 points. The total purchase score comes out at 85/100.
This shows how much data we had, not the car's condition.
A hybrid often brakes with the electric motor and so recovers energy. That is called regeneration. The normal brakes are then used less and the discs are scrubbed clean less often. A light layer of rust can build up, especially with many short trips.
This model is known to be reliable, with few major faults. The hybrid battery pack can lose some capacity as it ages; a targeted test at a garage gives certainty about this.
According to IIHS/HLDI, the "all coverages combined" loss index for Yaris is 131. Basis 100 is the US national average for all passenger cars under this coverage. Note: this is an index figure or rating class, an insurance statistic about the whole model. It is not a chance of defects and not a prediction for this car.
According to the GDV rating-class register (rate year 2024), Yaris has KH 13-19 (scale 10-25), VK 10-26 (scale 10-34), TK 11-25 (scale 10-33). Note: this range comes from 41 known engine variants in this rate year. GDV only looks at make and model here, not at the generation. With a count this high, several model generations may be pooled together. Note: this is an index figure or rating class, an insurance statistic about the whole model. It is not a chance of defects and not a prediction for this car.
Note: this is a share of the cars tested in this age band. It is not a chance of defects and predicts nothing for this car.

There is no statutory fee. Each synsvirksomhed (inspection centre) sets its own price; the maximum tariff lapsed at the end of 2006. No Danish organisation publishes an official price range, so no amount is given here on purpose. Two points matter to a buyer. After a failed inspection the car may go for an omsyn (re-inspection) within 60 calendar days. That period does not extend the synsfrist itself. The synsfrist is the final inspection date. While the synsfrist has passed, the car cannot be transferred to a new owner.
With a trader you have two years of reklamationsret, the statutory right to complain, counted from delivery (købeloven § 83). That term is mandatory law: in a consumer purchase the contract may not shorten it (§ 1, stk. 2). Does a defect show up in the first year after delivery? Then it is presumed to have been present at delivery (§ 77 a, stk. 3). The trader may prove otherwise. After that you have to prove yourself that the defect was already there. A voluntary garanti comes on top of this and never replaces the reklamationsret (§ 86 a).
This protection only applies when buying from a dealer, not in a private sale.
In a purely private sale the consumer provisions of the købelov do not apply. § 1 a, stk. 2 expressly limits §§ 72-87 to forbrugerkøb (consumer purchase). The reklamationsret of § 83 and the presumption of § 77 a therefore do not apply either. What remains is the general law of sale: § 42 gives a right to rescind the purchase or to a price reduction where there is a defect. Under § 47 you cannot complain about defects you should have spotted on your own inspection. And § 54 sets an outer limit here too of two years after delivery. A private seller may also add a general disclaimer: 'købt som beset' (bought as seen) or 'uden reklamationsret' (without the right to complain). A trader may not. Such a disclaimer does not hold where there is fraud (svig, § 42/§ 47/§ 54). The aftalelov can also set it aside: § 30 for fraud, § 36 for an unreasonable term.

Three things you can check yourself:
We do not see every earlier mileage reading. Ask the seller for service invoices and inspection reports that show the mileage. Compare those with the current reading.
There is no public damage database we may use. So we do not invent one. Do you have doubts about earlier damage? Then have the car inspected independently by a qualified garage or inspection service.
We cannot see what work has been done on the car. Nor how it stands today. Ask for the service book and the invoices. Judge the condition yourself when you view the car and on the test drive.
Missing information
The purchase score, the risk assessments and the advice in this report come from an automated analysis.
That analysis uses general model knowledge and the data available at that moment. This is not a technical inspection and gives no guarantee about the condition of the car. Plateop accepts no liability for decisions you take on the basis of this report. If in doubt, always have a car inspected by an independent expert before you decide.
